My name is Nuria Torrado Robles and I am an Associate Professor (PTU) in the Department of Mathematics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since September 2023. Previously, I held the position of Profesor Contratado Doctor from June 2022 to August 2023.
I was an Associate Professor (profesor contratado doctor) in the Department of Quantitative Economics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from February 2015 to June 2022.
I was a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Centre for Mathematics (CMUC) at Universidade de Coimbra from February 2013 to January 2015.
I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistical Methods at Universidad de Zaragoza from September 2012 to January 2013.
From September 2011 to August 2012, I was a Visiting Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at Universidad Pública de Navarra.
I obtained my Ph.D in Mathematics (2011) in the Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The title of my thesis is Stochastic Comparisons and Bayesian Inference in Software Reliability and my advisors were Rosa E. Lillo and Michael P. Wiper.
I was an invited researcher at the Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland (Sep-Dec 2008, 4 months) and at Portland State University, USA, (June-July 2010, 2 months).
I obtained a Msc degree (2 years) in Mathematical Engineering (2007) from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Previously, I obtained a Bs degree (5 years) in Mathematics (2000) and a Bs degree (5 years) in Statistics (2003) both from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
